Without realizing we’re already in autumn in our lovely island of Ibiza, and winter will soon be here. Of course, the island much more quiet during these months, and we are often asked about the different things and activities you can do in Ibiza during this time of the year.

That’s why on today’s post we want to show you interesting and suggesting ideas to enjoy Ibiza outside the summer season.

It’s the perfect time of the year for discovering and enjoying the rural and genuine side of Ibiza. To visit those wonderful villages spread throughout Ibiza island’s geography. It’s historic churches, shops, restaurants, bars… So pleasant, for enjoying in full harmony and peace.

A fantastic time for discovering Ibiza’s authentic traditional cuisine and its supreme quality food produce and recipes. Not only its great paellas and rice dishes, fresh fish and seafood dishes, etc., that are so successful during the summer season, but also the popular ones among Ibicenco families, such as “Arròs de Matances”, “Sofrit Pagès”, “Ossos amb col”… Just to mention some of the many traditional Ibicenco dishes.

And why not, Ibiza’s beaches and coves, maybe you can’t go for a swim every day, but still there’s a perfect temperature for enjoying them in other ways. Its beautiful sea views, wonderful hikes, lovely sunsets… And the whole beach to yourself!

And more ideas… Everything to do with nature, outdoor sports and water sports. Such as scuba diving, boating and sailing, fishing, etc. Incredible! Outdoor activities and sports, such as horseback riding, mountain bike excursions, nordic walking, golf, tennis, paddle tennis, hiking… Ibiza has perfect weather and temperatures for these outdoor activities and sports all year round.

Also, very interesting, is learning more about the history of this Mediterranean island, visiting and enjoying the old city of Ibiza, Dalt Vila (World Heritage), La Marina, the old fishermen’s neighbourhood of Ibiza town, and the different museums. You can also go shopping. For example, in Las Dalias market which opens every Saturday all year round. And also in Ibiza town you’ll find many open shops.

And last but not least, you can’t miss places such as Plaza del Parque, in Ibiza town, with always lots of atmosphere, and for those who like live music and dancing, Teatro Pereyra.

Hope you like and enjoy all these ideas. Have a happy week!  #LoveIbiza
